THE REVIEWS ARE IN!
and they’re good!
“Totally knock-out fabulous” - Chris Jones, Chicago Tribune
“Chylinski is a star, with charisma to spare”- C.J. Fernandez, Stage and Cinema
"As Loki, Chylinski is electrifying. Terms like “breakout role” and “star-making turn” are often overused, but they feel entirely appropriate here. Chylinski delivers a layered, magnetic performance that captures Loki’s volatility without ever reducing the character to comical caricature. Charming one moment, vindictive the next, Chylinski continually reveals the vulnerability and loneliness beneath Loki’s chaos. It is a remarkably nuanced performance that anchors the production emotionally even amid its loudest and most surreal moments."
- Misha Davenport, BroadwayWorld Chicago
“Though it’s definitely an ensemble effort, Chylinski is the hypnotic center of it. I don’t remember seeing Chylinski onstage before, but I can’t wait to see them again.” - Kerry Reid, The Chicago Reader
“Jack Chylinski employs charm and wide-eyed wonder”
- R. Scott. Reedy, BroadwayWorld
“Chylinski’s powerful voice does justice to “The Sword of Damocles,” a song I never really liked until this show.” - Michael Hoban, Theater Mirror
"[Jack Chylinski's] Loki has charisma for days...Chylinski's voice and physicality are excellent, and they don't sacrifice Loki's genuine emotion to the comedy and mischievous fun. Their performance goes a long way in further elevating the strong foundation of the show itself." - Christine Malcom, Talkin’ Broadway
“Jack Chylinski…[is] gloriously funny on stage.”
- Kevin Baldwin, Metra Mag
