   Jack Chylinski is a multi-hyphenate artist based in Chicago, IL with professional disciplines in acting, music, improvising, cabaret writing and performance, directing and on-camera acting. They have performed in various capacities across many iconic Chicago stages, such as The Steppenwolf, Thalia Hall, Color Club, The Annoyance, Second City, Rhapsody Theatre and more.

    Most recently, They performed with Lookingglass Theatre in Anthony Rapp’s Home for the Holidays (December 2025) and with Theo Ubique in the regional premiere of TL;DR: Thelma & Louise, Dyke Remix as the loveable butch and lead guitarist, Cubby (October 2025). Jack wrote, directed, performed and produced Make Your Own Kind of Music, a solo show that had a sold-out weekend run at Davenport’s Piano Bar (February 2024). This past fall, Jack portrayed the lead role in The Elkhorn Special, a feature-length film produced by Red Leg Productions (October 2025). When they’re not on stage, they’ve been known to direct fully staged productions, most notably at Orlando Fringe (June 2021). Their artistic mission is to curate and participate in human-centered collective experience through music and storytelling.
